Characters: Yokoyama Yu, Maruyama RyuheiLocation: Maruyama's apartmentRating: NC-17/RSummary: incompleteWarnings: none yetYoko walked tiredly to Maru's, wondering what his friend would do once he told him what had happened. Would he react like Ryo had done and punch him, then throw him out? Would he actually listen to what Yoko had to say? There was really only one way to find out.Part of himself wondered why he was going to Maru for this, but who else could he turn to? Maru was the most understanding next to Yasu, and Yasu...well. Yoko knew that Yasu had a soft spot for Ohkura and would no doubt be as upset as Ryo, if not more so. Why had he kissed Ohkura, even with the thought that he was slightly tipsy, let alone drunk enough to confuse him for Ryo. Hina was going to be pissed, that was for sure. Finally Yoko arrived at Maru's and buzzed to be let in.
Since he had got Yoko text, Maru had been wandering aimlessly around his apartment, not really finding the peace to simply sit down and wait for his friend to arrive. It was seldom that Yoko wrote in such a serious tone, and if he did it sure was no good sign."Kimi-kun, Kimi-kun~", Maru sighed out as he looked out the window and down on the parking lot in front of his apartment but even with the streetlights on it was already too dark to see who came and went all the time.Even tho he had been waiting for Yoko, he still jumped a little when the door alarm went of in a loud "Ding dong Dang dong~" and he hurried to the door and pushed the buzzer button so that Yoko could enter the apartment complex. He then opened his door and stepped out in the hallway, barefooted.
Yoko heard the buzz of the door and entered the complex, heading straight for Maru's door. He could see Maru standing outside waiting for him, and cleared his throat as he approached. "Hi..."When it came down to it, he really didn't know what to say, so chose to say nothing for the time being. He was sure Maru could see the effects of Ryo's punch; blood was all over his shirt and probably on his face too. He was sure there'd be a bruise as well. Ryo packed a mean one.
Maru was plain shocked when he saw Yoko, blood smeared over his face which was a bit swollen and red marks all over his clothes."K-Kimi-kun, what happened?!!!!" Maru stuttered out in a loud voice and ran towards Yoko, not caring if he accidentally woke some of the neighbors up with the commotion. When he reached the other boy his hand automatically reached to the other's face, looking at the damage done. "You seriously need to get this disinfected, and that's now!" his arm reached around Yokos back and he guided the other boy into his apartment, forcing him to sit down on the couch while Maru found the disinfecting tools.
Blinking as Maru's hand reached his face, Yoko allowed Maru to guide him to the sofa, where he sat quietly waiting for the other man to do whatever he was doing. He hadn't answered yet, but spoke while Maru was gathering together the antiseptic and whatever else he was doing. "Ryo is what happened. Ohkura and I went out for dinner, Ohkura got drunk...and I kissed him. I shouldn't have done but I didn't know they were together, and I didn't realise just how drunk Ohkura was. When he mistook me for Ryo, I took him home, but Ryo somehow got the wrong idea and punched me, then threw me out of Ohkura's apartment."He put his head in his hands, his voice choked. "What have I done, Maru? I've screwed up their relationship without even knowing about it, and I've hurt my friends. I don't even blame Ryo for being angry. I think I would be too in his place. But I never took advantage of Ohkura. Ever!"
With his back to Yoko, Maru listened to his story without saying anything, only fumbling with a bottle in his hand. Somehow he could understand how Ryo must have felt, but not listening fully to the other's story and then punching him, Maru though Ryo had crossed a line. As he heard Yoko's voice choke, he had to fight hard not to become emotional too. Seeing and hearing his friend like this really broke his heart, but instead of showing that he put on a caring face and walked the short distance to Yoko, sitting down on his knees before the sofa, pouring some antiseptic on a little piece of tissue and carefully tabbing it against the bruises on Yoko's swollen cheek."Kimi-kun.." Maru's voice was soft as he looked up at Yoko, "Right now I can only tell you to calm down! I'm sure Ryo was just.. just upset! And you and Tacchon will be able to explain him everything tomorrow, nee!". He tried to get eye contact with Yoko, so that the older boy could calm more down. "If you want, I can even go with you tomorrow!"
"Ryu-chan, he wouldn't even listen to me. He just accused me of lying and I left. I couldn't stay...and I don't know what's going to happen to Tacchon either. Is Ryo even going to listen to him?"Yoko winced as the antiseptic stung his bruised cheek, then sighed. "It's no use. He just won't listen to me. I didn't even do anything other than kiss Tacchon, so why he got the wrong idea, I don't know."He looked into Maru's eyes, seeing the concern for him, and almost broke down then and there, but he was Yoko, and Yoko didn't cry. Looking away, he stared into space with a sad expression on his face.
"I'm sure you'll be able to talk with Ryo again.. h-he just needs to calm down too!" Maru wasn't even sure that it would be possible, but it was always better to look more optimistically on things, because loosing hope before even searching was plain stupid. Finished cleaning Yoko's bruise, Maru covered the wound with one of the biggest band aids he had and lifted himself from his knees so he stood up again. Somehow he though that Yoko looked so small sitting on his couch, and instinctively he reached his hand down and ran his fingers through Yoko's hair, petting his head to try to cheer him up."You can stay here tonight if you like, I have an extra futon somewhere." Maru said gently, not wanting to let his friend be alone in the state he was in.
"Thanks Ryu-chan. For everything. I really appreciate your listening to me and not...getting angry with me," Yoko said softly, feeling a slight thrill as Maru's fingers ran through his hair, relaxing him. "I...are you sure it's ok?" he asked, uncertain. He didn't want to screw things up even more at this point.
"What are friends for, if not for listening?" Maru smiled at Yoko and sat down beside him, but not removing the hand from Yoko's head, messing softly thru his hair again. "Even tho my apartment ain't the biggest, there is always space for you to come over and stay, you know that silly~"
"Thanks," Yoko replied softly, grateful for the support Maru was giving him. In more ways than one, it seemed. The fingers in his hair made him dizzy and he wondered briefly if Maru would be upset if Yoko kissed him, then flushed. He'd already been down that road before tonight and it had screwed things up. Still, the messages Maru seemed to be sending him were making Yoko wonder."Ryu-chan...would it be ok if..."Yoko leaned forward and pressed his lips to Maru's gently, then backed away, a blush stealing across his face.
Maru's eyes grew wide in surprise in he felt Yoko's lips on his own, he hadn't seen that one coming, but strangely enough he found himself not disliking it. His hand, which had left Yoko's head when the older boy moved forward to kiss him, found itself on his back and when Yoko then pulled away he felt the urge to pull him close again, but he didn't do so. He felt his cheeks getting warm and imagined how red they must be."Kimi-kun.. I-I.. um..", Maru didn't know what to say, he hadn't thought about the possibility that Yoko might like him before, he wouldn't kiss me if he didn't like me, would he? But then he thought back on what Yoko had told him, the reason why he was so beat up had involved kissing Ohkura too. He took a deep breath and decided to tell him this seriously, "Kimi-kun. I-if you don't mean it, please don't toy with others hearts.." He looked into Yoko's eyes and hope he wasn't toying around.
"Ryu-chan...."Yoko realised that Maru believed he was messing around and wanted to scream with frustration. It wasn't that way at all! He didn't know how to articulate his feelings very well but he'd try his best. "I...I'm sorry. I..."It was harder than he thought and he was close to giving up. Maybe he'd misread things. "I'll go," he decided in the end, his head bowed. Looking into Maru's eyes after the kiss was nearly his undoing but it was too hard for him to say what was in his heart - the reason why he'd kissed Ohkura, and now the reason why he'd kissed Maru. Was it too much to want someone to like him the way he liked them? Yoko was no different than any other man - he was lonely and wanted someone to love, someone who would love him back. Pulling away, he slowly made his way to the door, his head down as he tried to blink back the tears he swore he'd never cry. "Thank you, Maru. I'm sorry all I do is spoil things..."
When Yoko stood up and started walking away Maru instinctively stood up too and reached out and grabbed Yoko's wrist, giving a hard pull he forced Yoko to turn around and face him again. "AHO! Don't leave like that!" Maru's eyes where full of tears which he were trying to keep under control, "Normally you aren't short of words at all, how can it be that you keep quiet when it comes to things important to you!!". Maru felt the urge to tsukkomi his friend, but this wouldn't be a good time to do so, so he simply made a sad pout. Maru wanted to understand what Yoko was thinking and feeling, if the other one just left he feared that he would do something stupid or there would be an odd silence between them the next tie they would meet.So Maru tightened his grip around Yoko wrist wanting to be sure that the older boy wouldn't have a chance to leave.Edited at 2008-02-23 06:33 pm (UTC)
Yoko woke up slowly, feeling a warm weight on his chest and shoulder and turned to see Maru snuggled up to him, fast asleep. His breath caught in his throat as he watched the younger man sleep, a peaceful look on his face. Then he remembered the events of the night before and wanted more than ever to cry. What was he doing here? Why had he asked Maru to be his boyfriend? It seemed Maru had feelings for him and he reciprocated but Maru felt pressured because of the situation? Because he felt lonely? He didn't really want sympathy if that were the case. He didn't deserve it, for one thing. Rather than face Maru with the questions, he tried to slip out of bed to get dressed without waking the other man up, his eyes feeling suspiciously wet. He scrubbed at his face with one hand, almost angrily; he would never cry. He had promised himself that for years now.
Maru slowly woke up as he could feel that something was not right. Without opening his eyes, his hands reached around the body that was slowly getting away from him. He didn't want to miss this warmth by any means. As he pulled the body close again, he started to remember last night, how Yoko had appeared all beaten up and sad, how he had stopped him from leaving again, and then they had ended up in bed together. They were together now and the thought of that made Maru smile against the older ones skin.He opened his eyes slowly and looked at Yoko, his sight still a little blurred, then he looked at the clock on the bed-table and gave out s sigh. "Mou~ It's still so early.. Go to sleep again Kimi-kun~" he whispered softly and tightened his grip so it ould be impossible for Yoko to leave the bed.
Lying stiffly in Maru's arms, having been pulled back into the bed and his embrace, Yoko couldn't help but let out a small sniffle as he tried to control the tears that were still threatening to fall. It just wasn't fair that now that he'd found someone, he didn't feel he deserved it and was still so full of insecurities it wasn't even funny. Weren't you supposed to be happy when you had someone who loved you? "Maru...." he whispered, trying to get the other man to let him go. "Let go...I have to go..please..." He didn't want to shame himself by crying in front of Maru.
The small sniffle didn't pass by unnoticed and Maru looked at Yoko again, starting to feel worried. Why does he want to leave? As far as I know he has no schedule he needs to follow today.. He loosened his grip a little, but he was still holding the older man down, their eyes connected and Maru became more serious. "Kimi-kun.. Why do you want to leave?" keeping his eyes focused on Yoko's.
"Maru, please....you don't have to...you don't have to go out with me if you really don't want to," Yoko said in a rush as those warm brown eyes stared into his, making him even more nervous and sad and afraid. "I'm sorry...if you feel I pressured you into it. I...."He couldn't talk any more, overwhelmed with the feelings of guilt and sadness and paradoxically, hope. Hope that it wasn't what he thought at all, that Maru did love him and it wasn't being forced in any way. Despite his promise, tears fell from his eyes and he turned to the side to hide his face in the pillow, his body shaking with silent sobs.
"Baka!" he said out in a loud voice, he couldn't really believe what he heard, Yoko thought he didn't mean it seriously. When the older man turned around a hid his face, he body starting to shake, Maru's voice grew soft again "You really are stupid, Kimi-kun-" His arms around Yoko dragged him closer than before, trying to steady Yoko's shaking body, he began kissing his shoulder and neck, "-you really think I would have done this with you if I didn't like you? You didn't pressure me into anything, silly!"
Yoko could feel Maru trying to reassure him, his voice soothing and the kisses making him feel hot again. Still, he wanted to be absolutely sure of this. Wiping away the tears as best he could, he turned back to Maru and looked at him solemnly. "You don't think I pressured you into this? I know how I feel but...I know you said you felt the same but I just don't know. It could have been just the sympathy talking..." Yoko whispered softly, suddenly unable to look at Maru any more. "I love you but that's why I don't want you to feel pressured in any way. If I have to, I will let you go rather than making you stay with me...against your will."
Maru listened to what was on Yoko's mind without interrupting. Yoko was always somebody to worry too much when it came to feelings, but seeing how serious he took it made Maru happy too. His hand went to Yoko's chin and lifted up his head so their eyes connected again, his eyes turning gentle as he looked at Yoko's concerned face "Nothing what happened between us was against my will and I won't be walking away from you now that we are finally together - Yokoyama Kimitaka~". And he leaned forward the shot distance that was between them ad locked their lips together, breathing warm against the others skin as he removed himself again, his cheeks starting to turn a slight tone of pink.
At Maru's words, a blush began stealing over Yoko's face, even more so when Maru kissed him, their breaths mingling. He felt even more warm than before, his body starting to react again to the proximity of his lover and boyfriend. "Maru...I love you so much..."Clasping his hands around Maru's neck, Yoko drew him down again for another kiss, his lips opening in a silent invitation for Maru to take charge and deepen the kiss. He felt silly for doubting Maru's feelings but relieved that his fears were unfounded.
Maru wanted to add an declaration of love too, but didn't get the time as he felt himself being pulled in for another kiss right away. His body tight at first, gave in to the kiss and as he felt Yoko's invitation he opened too and let his tongue slip into Yoko's mouth, playing around with the other tongue and loving the taste of it.He could slowly feel his own body warming up and something further down himself started to wake up too. A muffle sound escaped his lips against their kiss as he could feel himself brushing against Yoko's leg.
Yoko moaned into the kiss, feeling Maru's erection against his leg. It made him harder than he already was, his body so hot for Maru now that he could barely stand it. "I want you..." he whispered against Maru's lips, breaking their kiss temporarily. "I want to know what it feels like with you inside of me..."His blush deepened as he made that admission, unsure of what Maru was going to say. It wasn't usual for him, but he was honest. He wanted Maru so much it almost hurt but it was a new experience for him. He wasn't used to being the bottom, but he wanted to know what it felt like to have the one he loved inside of him for a change.
Maru's face turned scarlet when he heard his boyfriends words, he hadn't at all expected this coming from Yoko, but it made the blood boil in his veins,he planted another quick kiss on Yoko's lips and looked directly at him. "Y-you sure about this..?" he wanted to feel how Yoko felt inside too, but he also knew that not everyone felt pleasure when being fucked from behind "-You know it can hurt.. a lot! So I want you to be really sure about this!"As he gave Yoko time to answer, he started kissing his jawline and neck.
